About Dove Recovery House

Founded in 2000 with a mission to “make a positive difference in the lives of women recovering from substance abuse, including women who are homeless, uninsured, and financially unable to pay for help, by awakening within them a desire and commitment to change and to build a foundation for their recovery journey.” Since that time we have seen hundreds of women walk through our doors and make a commitment to their recovery. The uniqueness about Dove Recovery House is that we don’t expect the women to meet the staff where we are, but rather, we meet the women where they are. Currently, Dove Recovery House for Women is the largest transitional housing program for women recovering from addiction. Simply put, there are very few places in Indianapolis for a woman to make her journey of recovery solely in the company of other women. When she does make that journey, she is likely to do so at the Dove Recovery House for Women.
The Dove Recovery House is committed to empowering women to become substance free, self-sufficient, and healthy, by providing safe housing, quality programming and above all hope for their future.
Dove House offers transitional housing to women in recovery from substance abuse. All women, regardless of income, are welcome at Dove House. Core components of the Dove House program include:

Safe and Affordable Housing
Intensive Case Management
Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment
Access to Domestic Violence Services
Supportive Services
Relapse Prevention Counseling
Family Reunification Services
Employment Placement
Daily Living Skills Coaching
Financial Management
