This is a nothing but a group of snoopy church ladies that bully people who are in jail and having a hard time. I was pregnant while I was in jail and they wanted me to give my baby up for adoption to somebody in their church. They promised me all kinds of stuff but I never wanted to give my baby up and they were only nice to me until I told them I was never going to give my baby to them.

This is a church group that works inside the Seminole County Jail – there are lots of people who come to the jail = and they have a program called HAT. They had tons of paperwork to sign and they picked ,e up when I got released and took me to my probation officer. They are really close with law enforcement and all the cops and probation offices. I was supposed to have a bed somewhere but they couldn’t find one and I was really scared they were gonna make me sleep on the street. At the last minute -Susan – she runs the program – got me a bed at a safe house where there were a bunch of other girls. I was scared at first because Susan told me she didn’t ike this program but they were so nice and friendly. Everybody had a job and was really happy. They made me dinner and let me borrow all their stuff. I didn’t have anything after being in jail for so long.
I had to go to the HAT program the next morning and I told Susan I really liked the house they put me in but she said they didn’t think it was good for me and it was too far away and besides they had already got me a bed somewhere else. I stayed at the HAT program all day and then went to three services at church on Sunday. They took me to pick up the stuff that the girls at the house had given me but they wouldn’t tell me where the new bed was until we got to this run down homeless womens shelter in Sanford. It was awful and there were a lot of people on drugs. I had $5 the lady that ran the other house had given me to buy cigarettes but it got stolen 15 minutes after I got there.
These people act like they are better than everybody and they only want you to g to church and to meeting and you have to stay at the shelter for 12 weeks. They won’t let you get a job. You have to volunteer every day at the food pantry. I was going to get violated because I didn’t have the money to pay my court fees and they wouldn’t let me get a job. The said I wasn’t ready til after I graduated from HAT. I had to leave because I told them I had to get a job and they said if I left I was going to go back to jail and they wouldn’t let me come back. I left anyway and its been like three years and I’ve done a lot better without them I tell everybody not to get sucked in to their lies. They promise everything and never come through with anything.
