About Heat Watch

A program of the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office.

Bay Area H.E.A.T. Coalition (BAHC) 2 Freedom

H.E.A.T. Watch is anti-human trafficking organization that is working towards ending trafficking exploitation in the Bay Area.

We are structured through a five-point strategy system, designed to end human trafficking. Our strategy includes raising community awareness, training law enforcement, aggressively prosecuting offenders, coordinating existing services and promoting sustainable policy chances.

By combining these five successful strategies, we provide materials and expert resources as well as technical assistance through strong and effective partnerships and communication. We engage the community, protect victims, enhance efforts to investigate and prosecute their traffickers, and stop human exploitation and trafficking.

H.E.A.T. Watch is a leader in the fight against human trafficking in California.

“Our H.E.A.T. Watch blueprint guides other communities in their effort to combat exploitation in their neighborhoods. This is more than geographic regionalization; this must be an organization of community partners cooperating for one common goal. We extend an invitation to our surrounding counties to participate in H.E.A.T. Watch, and join our local, regional and national efforts to combat human trafficking,” says Alameda County District Attorney Nancy O’Malley.

What is the H.E.A.T Watch toolkit?

The H.E.A.T Watch Toolkit Website is a website designed to help you become educated about human trafficking and to help you combat the epidemic in your neighborhood.

This group is law enforcement. Everything they do is about enforcing the law. Their attitudes toward prostitutes is judgement and shame.
Holly Joshi, Casey Bates, Nancy O’Malley, are using local non-profits to advance their “work”. Beware of any anti-trafficking group in Alameda county.
I was assaulted and instead of investigating that incident, they investigated me. I am a prostitute who was assaulted and beaten. There is no help and that is mostly because of the sting and arrest operations geared toward saving us when we don’t ask for help.
I didn’t want rescue. I just wanted an investigation and prosecution of the criminal offender who victimized me. I’m not the criminal.
Also, legal assistance for victims… no such thing.
